Commercial House, Depot Road

Commercial house is a single-story trade counter currently operated by a tenant of North Mersey Business Centre, Curtis and Bell - Commercial Stationers. This is one of the first of Phase 8 Development Company's projects.   

The former waste transfer yard on Depot Road is now the home to a new office building. The new-build office was originally designed for North West Commercials Ltd. The single storey office building has been constructed in partnership with Sticx who are based in Wallasey.

Construction of the main timber frame structure was done by 2 NEET trainees, with the rest of the building being finished by another 3 NEET trainees with the help of Phase 8 Development Companys construction team.

The overall build time of the project was 11 weeks, from foundation to hand over of the keys.

The building is clad in Thermowood for a modern aesthetic and has a rubberised standing seam roof. The building is insulated past basic building regulations. This is also the first of a couple of units that will be going onto the site.
